Over the past decade, the value of belonging to ATLE has become increasingly clear to me. Being connected with a team of ET/IT people from across Alberta has not only helped contextualize my work beyond district boundaries, but also provided opportunities to collaborate beyond the district. The annual conference creates space for us all to connect and share in meaningful and cross-functional ways among ET/IT teams and with vendors. Ongoing Prolearn initiatives support relationship building, where we together build capacity to support excellence in ET/IT throughout the province. From tech PD support to Edcamp support to ongoing conversations with stakeholders, ATLE has been something of a beacon to help guide edtech implementation advancements in Alberta over the years and in years to come.
