We value your membership and participation in the activities of Alberta Technology Leaders in Education (ATLE).  In the past, most members renewed their memberships around the time of the annual conference.  If they were attending the conference, they had the option of renewing membership as part of the registration process for the conference.  At the 2016 AGM, the board of ATLE announced a new authority group plan option in the membership structure as well as a change in the way individual memberships would be renewed.  The changes took place during 2017:

  • Individual memberships will be renewed on their anniversary via the membership management system.  The renewal process will be an online process. There will be no option to renew membership in conjunction with conference registrations.
  • The Authority Group Plan was launched August 1, 2017.  It provides the opportunity for a jurisdiction to pay a flat fee to obtain ATLE memberships for all members of the IT department; all central ET staff, one senior jurisdiction administrator, and one representative from each school in the jurisdiction. If your jurisdiction has enrolled in an Authority Group Plan, your membership will be renewed automatically when the Authority Group Plan is renewed.  While the system distinguishes between individual memberships and memberships under the group plan, you have a regular membership in ATLE until the renewal date of your Authority Group Plan.  To determine if your jurisdiction has an Authority Group Plan or plans to create one, please consult with your senior IT and ET leaders.
  • Individual memberships can be renewed or new ones can be established online.
